Karl Williams is a robotics researcher, electronics guru, and software developer.
He is the author of three popular robotics books - Insectronics: Build Your
Own Six Legged Walking Robot, Amphibionics: Build Your Own Biologically Inspired
Robots, and Build Your Own Humanoid Robots : 6 Amazing and Affordable Projects,
all published by TAB/McGraw-Hill, New York.
He has also written for the magazines Nuts and Volts, SERVO, and Conformity
and was the winner of an IBM award for his design of a computer-controlled
robot arm. Karl is part of a software development team at a leading medical
imaging company.
He is available for contract work with microcontrollers, robotics, electronics,
mechanical design, software development, technical surveillance and counter
measures, wireless communication, and security analysis.
